The Division area is the Wingecarribee Shire plus Bargo and the Kangaroo Valley. The Shire is 2,700 square kilometres and stretches from Bargo to Wingello and eastwards to Robertson. The area straddles the Hume Highway. The area is cut off to the west by the Blue Mountains.
The main centre in the area is the town of Bowral. Bowral is 130 Kilometres south of Sydney. The main population centres are the towns of Mittagong, Bowral, Moss Vale and Bundanoon.
