Sixteen GPs and Dr Ruscoe attended an NPS education weekend on 3 and 4 May 08. The speaker was Dr Sarah Hilmer (geriatrician and clinical pharmacologist) who provided excellent and thought-provoking education on prescribing in the elderly. Dr Vince Roche and Dr Geoff Sparkes also gave motivating presentations on prescribing and the dinner speaker Kate Carnell provided a challenging look at general practice.
