Program overview
Antenatal Shared Care (ANSC) is an option of care provided collaboratively by the GP and the hospital-based services. It is offered to all pregnant women assessed as suitable throughout the Sydney South West Area Health Service (SSWAHS).
The local ANSC program is a joint initiative of:
- Southern Highlands Division of General Practice and Bowral & District Hospital
The program is also offered at other SSWAHS facilities: Fairfield, Liverpool, Camden and Campbelltown Hospitals in conjunction with Macarthur Division of General Practice.

Women & Babies Booking Process
GPs complete the referral form for BDH (see below for MD template to download) and fax or email it to BDH. At BDH the referral will be triaged, an appointment allocated and the patient contacted.
