The Southern Highlands area is well serviced by a variety of pre-schools, primary and secondary schools and also has a TAFE (Moss Vale) and a campus of the University of Wollongong. There are a number of primary schools including public, private, co-educational, single sex and Catholic. Likewise secondary schools include public schools, a private girls' school, a Catholic co-educational school, an independent co-educational school and a private co-educational international college.
